BREAKING THE POWER OF EVIL

Evil takes hold of the mind and from there seek to destroy the heart by making it severely cold. The " I don't care" attitude is the very first indication of the seed of evil.. Uncaring, mean, selfish and hatefilled hearts are a breeding ground for evil waiting to manifest. Evil destroys the conscience till it has lost all feelings for it's victim. Pedophiles, killers, psycopaths are not the only evil people around. Every evil infected mind and heart is capable of carrying out evil whenever the conditions so dictate.To destroy evil we must fill our hearts with love- God's kind of love.

WHAT IS LOVE ?

A full comprehension of the true meaning of certain words will certainly prevent the gradual erosion of happiness that many face today in life. One of such words is the word " LOVE ". What really is Love? Is sex really making love? Can a man/woman love you for themselves. Does the government or politician really care or love you? Many say they love cheese cake, love their cars or dress. Is it the same as when they say I love you? You really need to know what he/she means whenever they utter that word love because it means different things to different people. Have you found true LOVE? What does it feel, taste or look like? AVOIDING TROUBLE ?

In my meditation this morning, a thought came to me and I remembered two stories from two renowned men of God. A man went up to the first man of God who was operating in the miraculous/healing ministry and requested that thepreacher lay hands on him and pray that he would not have any more troubles in his life. The preacher asked the man to kneel down and he laid hands on him and began to pray,” Lord, take this man home right now………” the man being prayed for jumped up and exclaimed, “Why are you praying for me to die?”, to which the preacher replied, “Because that is the only way you will never have any more trouble in your life”. Another man went to this gifted man of God who was operating in the miraculous/prosperous power of God and asked him to pray for him so that he will be like the preacher. This man of God asked the man to also kneel down to be prayed for and began to pray, “Lord, let men persecute him, let men tell lies against him, let those he thinks are for him betray him, let…………….” This man also leapt to his feet before the prayer was over and exclaimed, “Why are you cursing me?” The man of God replied, “Because that is what I have been through to get to where I am today.” I have discovered that what we refer to as trouble today is what heavens call training.
